Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Yes. Every carrier in our network is required to carry cargo insurance, with enclosed carriers typically carrying higher coverage limits — often $250,000 or more — given the value of the vehicles they transport.
Before pickup, we confirm the assigned carrier's certificate of insurance. We also recommend a thorough photo inspection at both pickup and delivery — this documentation, recorded on the Bill of Lading, is what protects you if anything needs to be addressed.
Is your coordination fee included in the price, or charged separately?
Our coordination fee is built into the total quote we give you — it's not an add-on charged on top of the carrier's transport cost. The number we quote is the full price you'll pay.
When is payment due — before or after shipment?
Payment happens in two steps, which is standard across the auto transport industry:
1. A deposit (our coordination fee) is due once we've confirmed and dispatched a carrier for your vehicle — not before, since that's when the work of securing transport is actually done.
2. The remaining balance is paid directly to the driver at delivery, typically via cash, certified check, or money order.

Open transport is the most cost-effective option and is what most standard vehicles ship on. Enclosed transport costs more but adds protection from weather and road debris — worth considering for higher-value, classic, or collector vehicles.
